Business
Development Training Program™
(BDTP) 5-Day
The BDTP is the most elaborate, comprehensive and intense of the
Career Training Courses. It is also the most popular. The five day
Hands-On Course can take you from the ground up to a full-fledged
income generating business. This is the only training class of its
kind for Professional Organizers and the first to include all of
the “Core Competencies” as defined by the National Association
of Professional Organizers. Professional services such as a consultation with
an attorney, website consultant, and CPA are available to participants.
This course is geared to individuals who are either new or very
recent additions to the field of Professional Organizing and who
may or may not have attended a NAPO Conference. This is a turn-key
course including full training in essential business skills and expert guidance in the creation of a customized Business Plan. The skills training is then fine-tuned through 5 days
of in-depth classroom analysis of business practices and procedures
combined with over 20 hours of hands-on experience in a specially
selected client project.

Professional
Organizer’s Core Training™ (POCT) 3-Day
This class is a three day condensed version of the Business Development
Training Program. It is ideal for the
Professional Organizer or related industry professional who is relatively
new to the field and who is looking for ways to hone their skills
or add an additional revenue steam. The manual is the same, the
instruction is the same, the forms and other resources are the same.
Only the classroom and Hands-0n time has been condensed into a three-day
weekend session of intense training.

Organizer’s
Express™ 2-Day
This is ideal for those who have already completed training or certification
in another industry such as interior design, re-design, professional
housekeeping, coaching, or other related fields. This class is also
designed for those who already have the necessary business skills
but need to bring new life into an existing business, need help
marketing their business, or perhaps refining their client relations
skills. This two day course puts the emphasis on classroom training
with in-depth analysis of specially selected case studies and includes
four hours of hands-on experience with an experienced Professional
Organizer on a individually selected client project.

Professional Organizer’s Orientation™
4 Hours
This four hour session is perfect for the individual who would like
to find out more about Professional Organizing but isn’t quite
ready to commit to it as a profession. The class will give you an
introduction to Professional Organizing, the National Association
of Professional Organizers and the National Study Group for Chronic
Disorganization. We will also look at ways to make what may be a
hobby or a special passion for you into a part-time or full-time
income-generating business.

a Redesign Class
Interior Redesign is Interior Design using the client’s existing
furnishings and accessories and it can be a natural extension of
any Professional Organizing Service since both professions share
a common goal – to create a neat, well-ordered and attractive
space in a client’s home or office. This class will provide
the comprehensive knowledge and training to go the extra step to
blend interior redesign and professional organizing into one highly

Add
a Business Plan
The Business Plan may be obtained
separately for an additional charge of $925.00. The Business Plan
must be ordered at least two weeks prior to the commencement of
class and will require a minimum of 4 hours of teleconferences to
collect the data to customize your business plan to your market,
competition and areas of specialization.
